Student Alumni Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors act as spokespersons for the student body at various Davenport-sponsored events including the Alumni Awards Banquet, the Excellence in Business Fundraising Gala, and the annual Davenport University Scholarship Golf Classic. Besides attending and speaking at various events, Student Ambassadors volunteer their time on various projects in the Alumni Office.

Sara Brondsema
 Sara earned her bachelor's degree with a major in marketing. Her plan is to work in media planning. Before her 2007 graduation, she worked part time in Davenport's main campus bookstore.
Her position as Student Ambassador offered Sara a chance to help students get more involved with University activities, which she believes will help them to develop a stronger relationship with Davenport. The Student Ambassador experience has been a valuable resource in her career path.
Amanda Dykhuis
 After completing her bachelor's degree in accounting, Amanda is pursuing two very important educational/career goals: completing her master's degree and becoming a licensed CPA.
Amanda has been very involved in activities with Davenport as a student and is pleased to serve as Davenport University Student Ambassador for the 2006-2007 academic year.
For Amanda, the Student Ambassador's role is to communicate with people who share a part in Davenport, both inside and outside the walls of the academic building. Excited to build on past relationships as well as forming new ones, Amanda enjoys the opportunity to get to know alumni and others connected to Davenport while serving as Student Ambassador. |
