Information for Military & Veterans

As a member of the Servicemember Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium, Davenport University will award credit to members of the military for nontraditional learning activities through evaluation of military training and experience and recognition of standardized tests such as DANTES and CLEP. DU is also a participant in the Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAp), a partnership between colleges and universities and the Army Recruiting Command.

  • You must be enrolled in a degree program at Davenport to receive educational benefits from the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
  • Current soldiers in the Army National Guard are required to file a Request for Tuition Assistance form. See the National Guard's Virtual Armory website for more information.

The Veterans' Affairs point of contact on campus will assist you in applying for benefits, including financial aid, and in obtaining credit for previous education and military experience. Email us with questions, or fill out our Contact Us form to get more information.
