Applying to a Nursing Program
If you are NEW to the University:
Here's the process for applying to a Nursing program:
- Apply for admission to the University as a Pre-Health nursing student. Apply online
- When you are admitted to the University, you'll receive letter of acceptance with the information you need to apply separately to a Nursing program.
- Download and submit the forms as instructed here on the Nursing Application page.
Entry to the Nursing program is competitive, and acceptance to the University does not guarantee acceptance into a Nursing program.
If you are a CURRENT DU student:
Students with a Pre-Health or other non-Nursing major are not required to submit an online application. Current students should download and submit the Nursing program application materials found on here on the Nursing Application page.
If you are a current NURSING student in DU’s Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program:
A completed “Intent to Progress” form is required in place of the program application, references, and essay. This form is distributed in NURS298.
