ERIC - Education Resources Information Center

Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) of the U.S. Department of Education provides access to more than 1.3 million bibliographic records of journals, books, conference papers, working papers, research reports related to the field of education, some in abstract form and some full-text.  Materials included cover early childhood education through higher education, vocational education, and special education.  Topics covered include teaching and teacher education, education administration, assessment and evaluation, counseling, information and technology, and the academic areas of reading, mathematics, science, and environmental education, languages, and social studies.  Materials of a special focus which are sought and included in this database are those that address the closing of the achievement gap, educational practices that improve academic achievement and education research.
