One of the most beloved and admired American First Ladies, Laura Bush is a champion for education, health care and human rights. Mrs. Bush continues her work on issues of national and global concern through the George W. Bush Institute located at her alma mater, Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Honoring Michael J. Jandernoa
Michael Jandernoa, the 2013 Peter C. Cook Excellence in Business Award Recipient, is the former Chairman and CEO of Perrigo Company, a leading global healthcare supplier. He currently supports entrepreneurship through Grand Angels, Jandernoa Entrepreneurial Mentoring and Bridge Street Capital Partners while serving on numerous boards.
The Excellence in Business Dinner was established in 1998 in honor of alumnus Peter C. Cook. Proceeds from the event benefit Davenport University Foundation scholarships.
