VA Student Process

Sign up for benefits with the Veterans Administration

Veterans who wish to attend Davenport University and use Veterans Benefits must follow the steps below: 

  • Go to  www.gibill.va.gov
  • Click on Education Benefits
  • Click on How to Apply Benefits
  • Complete application and make sure that the application is signed
  • Send a copy of the application to the VA Certifying Official at the address below

Please note: If a student has applied for Chapter 33 (Post 9/11) benefits, he/she is required to send a copy of his/her “Certificate of Eligibility Letter” to the VA Certifying Official.  Students must also list Davenport University as the selected school.

In order to start the certifying process, the student must send either a copy of the (1) VA Application (2) Certificate of Eligibility Letter, or (3) A Request for Change of Program or Place of Training form.
