Validating Essential Skills to Lead and Manage Effectively
The Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) has partnered with Davenport University as a “preferred provider” of Certified Manager® education in Michigan to offer the program in MGMT 399/699, Certified Manager Preparation/CM® Prep course.
Through a comprehensive three-module program of management training and assessment, ICPM certifies a level of management competency which is recognized worldwide. Certification is appropriate for present and future managers at all levels in all industries.
The CM® body of knowledge covers the following essential skills and content areas: Management Foundations, Planning and Organizing, and Leading and Controlling.
The Certified Manager® Prep course (MGMT 399/699) is offered throughout the academic year at Davenport University . It is appropriate for any student in any major. The instructional methods include lecture, self-directed assignments, group classes, and e-learning.
CM® certification is highly sought after in today’s workplace because:

CM® course material fees are payable when a student has registered for the MGMT 399/699 course at Davenport University. Some scholarships are available!
