The College of Health Professions has dedicated internship managers whose sole responsibility is to work with students to obtain an appropriate practicum site. Practicums are cooperative, supervised work experiences which involve collaboration among the student, employer, and faculty member.
Allied Health programs require a practicum experience to graduate, and the placement rate is nearly 100% in these areas of study:
- Medical Assisting
- Phlebotomy
- Health Services Administration
- Medical Case Management
- Health Information Technology
- Health Insurance Claims Management
