The College of Technology provides students at the graduate, bachelors and associates degree levels the opportunity to gain real-world experience through internships for credit in business, government, and non-profit organizations. 
 
Internships are cooperative, supervised work experiences involving the student, employer, and a College of Technology faculty member. While some Davenport College of Technology programs require internships as part of the curriculum, others are optional. 

All interns work in a field that is aligned with their academic program and their positions are approved and supervised by Davenport faculty. Davenport College of Technology students have interned at companies such as:

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation
  • National Security Agency
  • Stryker
