Business & Industry Projects
At Davenport, students can engage with real-world professionals in business and industry through class-based projects, field trips, and job shadowing opportunities. Many of our faculty also work in business and industry and bring their knowledge and experience to the classroom. As a form of experiential learning, business & industry projects allow students to test out classroom theories in a real setting, learn from current professionals in the field, and form important career networking relationships.
Here are some examples of recent Business & Industry projects:

- Students completed a feasibility study for the startup of a new health care business--LabTest MD--in partnership with the Wyoming-Kentwood Area Chamber of Commerce
