Amy Angell joined Davenport University in May of 2012 as the Associate Department Chair of Marketing. She is responsible for the marketing program at six Davenport campuses: Livonia, Warren, Flint, Lansing, Midland and Saginaw. Amy has been an instructor in higher education since 2007 at a local community college teaching in the areas of business, management and, in particular, marketing.
Prior to teaching, Amy spent many years in field sales in both the pharmaceutical and medical/laboratory sectors. In addition, she has experience with start-up organizations, one of which had an innovative, biotechnological software program. Amy also began her own marketing consulting business in which she raised awareness and funds for a local non-profit organization.
When asked about her passion, Amy will respond, “building and nurturing relationships.”
