Masters in Education from University of Pheonix, 2004
Angela is active in efforts to enhance developmental courses, retention, and service learning at Davenport University. She serves on the Flint retention committee, is involved with curriculum development for English 021, and mentors students as a pilot to bridge the gaps in communication during their academic journey. In addition, Angela feels involvement in the community is a must to help build relationships and be ambassadors for Davenport University; therefore, she considers service learning extremely important. In her advanced courses, she works with several partners throughout the community to push students to do “real” world learning through group projects. Additionally, Angela serves as the newsletter editor for the Michigan Developmental Education Consortium (MDEC).
