Keri Dutkiewicz has taught communications, writing, literature, and humanities courses online, in-seat, and through blended formats at Michigan State University, Alma College, Lansing Community College, and Davenport University. Keri served as a DU Department Coordinator for English, communications, and foreign languages online for three years prior to moving into the role of Director of Faculty Learning.

Dr. Dutkiewicz worked for over five years as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a leading performance management and HR technology corporation. In this role, she was responsible for developing all facets of sales and marketing operations, including the development of marketing materials and front-line consulting with prospective clients. Clients included: Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Pepsico, Weyerhauser, Kroger and Sears.

After leaving the corporate world for an academic teaching and leadership position, Keri supplemented traditional academic work with study abroad initiatives. She has developed short-term study abroad programs in China, Mongolia, and India that help students explore alternate social, economic and political structures.

Her research interests include identifying the appropriate balance between creativity and consistency in online course design, best practices in international service learning, globalizing curriculum and university cultures and designing methods to assist professionals with effectively managing stress and thriving in change-based cultures.
