Lisa is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and an AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS Certified Trainer. Lisa was the Vice President of the Southeast Georgia Health Information Management Association (SEGHIMA). Lisa is currently a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Michigan Health Information Management Association (MHIMA) and a Mid-Michigan Health Information Management (MMHIMA).

Lisa has experience in the Health Information Management (HIM) field in many capacities: inpatient coding, outpatient coding, quality management, HIM management and manager of utilization review.

Before joining Davenport University, Lisa was the Program Director of the Health Information Technology (HIT) Associate Degree program at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA. She facilitated the program accreditations and implemented online courses. She earned an Excellence in E-Learning certificate from Georgia Virtual College. Lisa was also Adjunct faculty for the HIT program at Kaplan University in Hagerstown, MD.
