Martin joined Davenport University in January 2011. Previously, he was a lecturer at Makerere University. He has also worked as an IT professional and instructor at Ferris State University. Prior to 1998, he worked within the IT industry as a computer engineer, systems analyst, consultant and researcher for renewable and alternative energy sources. He has worked with international Organizations: The World Bank, Danish Red Cross, and African Development Bank.
Martin authored a book--"An analysis of IT/IS Offshore Outsourcing: Educator Perspectives”. Martin also participated in research collaborations with Radboud University in the Netherlands.
Martin obtained certification as a Microsoft systems engineer and SQL server database administrator. His teaching interests include information security, CISCO networking, project management and client server systems.
