Megan began her career at Davenport as an adjunct instructor for four years prior to becoming a full-time employee. Megan is on the board of the Mid-Michigan Health Information Management Association as the chair of the Nominating Committee. She is a certified ICD-10 Train the Trainer for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). In addition, she mentors individuals interested in health information management through AHIMA.

Megan has a BS in Health Information Management and a BS in Health Care Systems Administration as well as an MBA in Strategic Management. She has worked as an inpatient coder, an external peer reviewer in veterans' hospitals, and a human resources analyst.
