Steve Bacinski has been teaching mathematics and statistics at Davenport University since 2007. He is interested in many areas of mathematics, particularly focused in the areas of graph theory and linear algebra. Steve often teaches students in computer science mathematical applications to programming, computer game design, and biometric security. He has presented talks at local and national conferences on MATLAB projects from linear algebra students.
Steve promotes a relaxed, interactive classroom, working cooperatively with students to solve challenging application-based problems in mathematics. His goal for students in his class is to give them tools and strategies to become better problem solvers, and hopefully increase their appreciation for mathematics in their lives.
