Toni has worked in healthcare for 25 years. She began as a nurse and then moved into the health information arena. Toni has experience in an acute care setting as a director of a health information department, and she has also worked as a consultant on HIM practices/processes for healthcare organizations.

Toni is certified as a registered health information administrator with diverse health information management experience including all aspects of health records, coding/abstracting, medical library, physician practices, utilization review, quality assurance, case management, medical transcription, health information education, and consulting. Toni is also certified as an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) trainer in ICD-10-CM/PCS.
