Susan Mitchell has held various positions since joining Davenport University. These include Business Information Technology department coordinator, interim Academic Dean, and Business Information Technology/Computer Information Technology Department Coordinator. She is currently a full-time faculty member who teaches the Microsoft® Office application courses and Applied Information Technology course. She holds certifications in Microsoft® Word and Excel.
Her previous teaching experience includes Flint Community College and Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, the General Motors Dislocated Workers Program, and staff training at Wayne State University. She has also acted as consultant for a variety of organizations.
Susan is a member of Delta Pi Epsilon, an honorary association for business education professionals. In 2005, she was selected as Teacher of the Year.
