Step 1

Open the wireless connections on your computer and attempt to connect to du-secure. This will fail and pop up an alert with an error about the certificate.

Step 2

Click on Change Advanced Settings on the left bottom side (as noted in the picture above).

In the following window, click on the wireless networks tab, select du-secure, and click choose Properties

.

Step 3

Under the Association tab, be sure WPA2 and AES are selected like shown.

Step 4

Go to Authentication tab and change EAP type to PEAP (as show). Make sure "Authenticate as computer when computer information is available" is unchecked.

Step 5

Click on Properties. Under the Trusted Root Certification Authorities locate and check the box next to "VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5". This option is near the bottom of a very long list (as shown below). Next click on Configure.

Step 6

A pop up (as displayed below) will appear. Uncheck the box next to "Automatically use my Windows logon name and password". Click "ok" until you return to the wireless options.

Step 7

Finally, disconnect from du-secure and reconnect. It will now pop up an alert on the bottom of your screen that says "Click here to authenticate the certificate". Click on that pop-up, then put in your DU username and password. Keep the domain field blank.
