Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Program
This two-part course prepares participants for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification examination developed and conducted by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) with 40 years of experience. This exam-preparation course provides a focused review of all subject matter for the CMA Certification. These courses use a focused curriculum to give you the greatest chance of passing the CMA Examination. Note: Successful completion of this preparatory course does not guarantee passing the exam. Achieving the CMA credential demonstrates your mastery of financial planning, analysis, control, and decision support, as well as professional ethics.

About the Instructor:

Tim Bergsma is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has over 15 years of experience in the field of accounting. His years of service to the accounting profession are complimented by his experience in business management and business ownership.
Tim’s areas of specialty include a broad range of topics within management accounting such as cost accounting, activity based management, budgeting/forecasting, differential analysis, pricing strategy and operational control. Additionally, he specializes in the fields of forensic accounting and fraud examination. Tim’s abilities in this area extend into fraud prevention consulting as well as fraud detection and investigation support.
Tim is currently working on a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with a specialization in accounting.
