Welcome, International Students!

We are glad that you are considering Davenport University. We want to make the admission process easy! Not sure what to do? First, submit your application. When we receive it, one of our admissions representatives will contact you to help with the rest.

TO ATTEND ONLINE ONLY

Apply and have your official transcripts sent to enroll.  No student VISA necessary!

TO ATTEND ON-CAMPUS (U.S.)

STEP 1 Use the applicable document checklist (undergraduate or graduate) to apply and be admitted to Davenport University. Upon completion of the checklist you will receive an F1 Eligibility (I-20) form.

Please note: SEVIS File Transfer Request forms are applicable only to students transferring from another U.S. institution.

STEP 2 Upon acceptance you should Apply for housing. Ask your admissions representative about our Housing Scholarship.

STEP 3 Obtain an F1 student visa. Check EducationUSA, a great resource to help you get your visa.

Once admitted, Davenport will provide international students with:

  • Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility)
  • Official letter of acceptance
  • Instructions to apply for F-1 student visa

You will be required to present the I-20 form when you apply for an F-1 student visa and again at the port of entry into the United States.

  • Contact  your local U.S. Embassy, U.S. Consulate, or Office of Public Affairs
  • Request a referral to an overseas educational advising center near you.
