As an Airman, we want to thank you for your service protecting our freedom and the people of the world. You've earned well-deserved benefits to help you pay for college. We want to make sure you receive them. 

Get Credit for Service

While serving, you’ve also taken military and job specific courses that are worth college credit. You can also apply credits that you’ve earned from the Community College of the Air Force toward a Davenport degree.

These earned credits have helped many service men and women obtain a Davenport associate's or bachelor’s degree in one to two years.

Step 1: Apply Online

Apply now. Waive the $25 application fee by selecting the "Pay Later" option.

Step 2: Order Military/Civilian Transcripts

Have all previous civilian education and military course transcripts sent to:

Step 3: Apply for GI Bill Benefits

If you have served or are serving in the Air Force, Reserves or Air National Guard, you may be eligible for further funding under the GI Bill. Before you apply for GI Bill benefits, email or call 800-686-1600:

Step 4: Apply for Air Force Tuition Assistance (TA)

How to Enroll in Courses and Obtain Tuition Assistance Online:

Please Note:  Air Force TA is available for those who are currently serving on active duty or reserves.  Some states may offer more incentives for their Air National Guard personnel. If you are not sure, contact your local Air National Guard office.

  1. Register by setting up your Air Force Tuition Assistance account (username and password).
  2. Select Davenport University as your school (make sure you have the correct course information on your forms).
  3. Have your TA and applicable paperwork approved, as outlined by Air Force policy.

When you have your TA form submitted and approved, email or call 800-686-1600:

Step 5: Email a copy of the following documents to Adam Betz or Jonathan Highman.

  • Veteran: DD-214 Member 4 copy
  • Still Serving: Copy of military ID (front side only)
