Step 1 Apply for Admission
Step 2 Complete your FAFSA [1] (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Step 3 Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) and make corrections if needed.
Step 4 Review your status on the Davenportal
Step 5 Review your award letter on the Davenportal.
Step 6 If you requested Direct Student Loans, you may need to complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory.
Step 7 If your Parents have applied for a PLUS loan, they will also need to complete a Master Promissory Note and a PLUS request form for processing.
Step 8 Apply for scholarships
Step 9 Read through the information on Michigan [5] programs and make sure that Davenport's federal code of 002249 is listed first on your FAFSA in the section for your college choices.
Step 10 Check out student employment [6] information.
The Davenport Financial Aid Office must follow Federal, state, and Davenport guidelines which can affect your aid. Report any significant changes to your financial aid counselor, such as a change in your residency, enrollment status, other scholarships you receive, a loss of employment, or any severe situation that may affect your ability to pay for your education.
