The Davenport Scholarship Golf Classic is held in August each year to raise funds for student scholarships. In 25 years, this event has raised over $1 million. We are grateful to the many sponsors and golfers who have made this possible.

The Alumni Relations Office hosts a variety of events across the state including social, professional development and family-oriented as a way to get alumni from Davenport University and its predecessor colleges connected Davenport and in many cases reconnected with old classmates.

Excellence in Business Dinner Gala
The annual Excellence in Business Dinner Gala exemplifies the business ideals taught at Davenport University and serves to honor the truly great business and community leaders in West Michigan. Each spring a distinguished local business person(s) is awarded the prestigious Peter C. Cook Excellence in Business Award at a spectacular event with proceeds benefitting student scholarships.
In 2012, David and Carol Van Andel were honored and Tom Izzo, Head Coach, Michigan State University Men's Basketball, was the guest speaker. Enjoy photos [5] from the event here.
