Full Curriculum
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE • 120 CREDITS MINIMUM • TECH MGMT BS
This program is designed to prepare students for various management positions specific to Information Technology (IT). Course work integrates and ties concepts from accounting, finance, IT with in-depth project management concepts unique to the dynamics that are information technology specific, across health care, business and technology. Students will also refine their focus by selecting course concentration options in Computer Information Systems Specialty, Database Management Specialty, Focused Technical Specialty*, Information Security Specialty, Networking Specialty, and Web Design Specialty, along with a course that will help prepare them to complete the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) exam or a Project Management Internship.
* Students in the BS Technology Management - Global IT Project Management major will have the option of selecting the Professional Focused Technical Specialty. The successful graduate will complete 18-24 credits in a focused technical area in a field of business. The 18-24 credits must be approved by the program-specific Department Chair and/or the Associate Dean prior to beginning any courses applicable to the Focused Technical Specialty.
