Transportation Services

About Us

The DU Transportation department provides transportation services to students, employees, athletes, departments and visitors at many of our Davenport campuses. Within the Transportation department the following areas are also managed; Transit Services, bus charters, and fleet maintenance.

Transit service is provided by Davenport University and is a FREE shuttle service [1] that runs to many Grand Rapids locations including the public transit hub in downtown Grand Rapids.

Bus charters are provided to all departments for events requiring transportation of large groups of University students, staff and athletes. For Davenport University transportation needs please call Ben Nelson at 616-732-1190.

Vehicles managed by the DU Transportation department include buses, vans, trucks and sedans. All University owned vehicles are maintained and serviced at the Transportation garage.

To provide the best possible service to the University community and safely transport them to where the world is going.
