A DU Experience for the Family
Davenport University began a new tradition when we hosted the inaugural Family Weekend in 2010. It was a great success and Family Weekend 2011 was even better.
Family Weekend invites parents, siblings, children and other family members to experience a weekend in Grand Rapids at the Grand Rapids Lettinga campus.
Family Weekend is September 28th and 29th.
Schedule includes:
Friday, September 28
5pm Check in at the Student Life Office
6:30pm Dinner in the Dining Hall - $7
7pm River City Improv in Sneden Auditorium
8pm movie showing – Madagascar 3 in Sneden Auditorium
Saturday, September 29
8am Late Registration at the Student Center
8am Fall Crawl starting and finishing at the Student Center
9am Breakfast $5 at the Dining Hall (FREE if you participate in the Fall Crawl 5K)
11am-4pm Kid’s Day activities in the Student Center
11am – 2pm Tailgate outside the Student Center
Noon Rugby National Championship Ring Ceremony at the DU Turf Field
1pm Rugby vs Notre Dame at the DU Turf Field
4pm Men’s Soccer at the DU Turf Field
Dinner on your own
7pm Game Night with HAT in Sneden Meeting Rooms 1/2/3
8pm Movie Showing- Amazing Spider-man in Sneden Auditorium
