College Transfer Course-to-Course Equivalencies

Students with 15 or more transferable semester credits will be admitted. Transferable credits include college-level courses completed with a grade of C or better. Students entering without college-level math and English will be tested for appropriate placement.

Choose an institution from the drop down menu, enter the course prefix and number, and click on "Go." If you don't know the course prefix, select your school only to see all courses listed by your former school(s).

Official evaluation of all transcripts is done through the Registrar's Office. Davenport University reserves the right to make revisions as it deems necessary without prior notice.

Program-to-Program Transfer Articulation Guidelines

Institutional transfer articulation agreements focus on the detailed conditions for accepting students (with specific degrees and GPAs) and transferring their completed associate degrees into specific Davenport University majors. If Davenport University has an articulation agreement with the institution you attended previously, that agreement governs your transfer determination, if covered by the articulation agreement. Otherwise, your transfer determination is governed by individual course-to-course equivalency evaluations and Davenport University transfer policies, or as determined by DU at its sole discretion.

Other Options for Academic Credit

• Life Learning
  You may earn university credit by completing portfolios that document prior experiential learning. Opportunities may include career and personal learning in job-related activities, travel, community leadership, specialized training programs, and in some cases, successful completion of national certification exams. See your academic advisor for information.
   
• Testing Programs
  Davenport awards credit for passing scores on the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES, Advanced Placement and Credit by Exam programs. Some exams are offered on site. The Library Information Commons at various locations will have details.
     
• Military Experience
  As a Servicemember Opportunity College (SOC) participant, Davenport awards credit for non-traditional learning activities by evaluating military training and experience and recognizing standardized examination programs such as DANTES and CLEP. Active military personnel attending Davenport may also be eligible for our Military Tuition Scholarship. See the Veteran's Affairs point of contact at each location for information.
