*ACCT315 is a recommended elective if pursuing the Financial Planning Specialty

In pursuing the BBA in Finance the student must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters of sequential accounting principals and a foundational course in Corporate Finance.

In order to meet Davenport University residency requirements students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours which must include 1 200+ level FINC course, the chosen specialty or elective ACCT and/or FINC courses, FINC402 and INTD499. It is highly recommended that the highlighted courses be completed at Davenport University in order to meet this residency requirement. If an equivalent course was taken previously, another course may be chosen from those listed.

It is recommended that students who have earned a two year diploma complete all of the foundation courses either as transfer credit from their previous institution or at Davenport University.

Students must complete a minimum total of 120 semester credit hours to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration Finance degree. The total credit hours will include the completed 2 year diploma classes plus any courses completed through Davenport University.
