In pursuing the BBA in Health Services Administration the student must have completed foundational coursework in management, marketing, accounting, health care administration and medical records management.

In order to meet Davenport University residency requirements students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours which must include HSAD200, HSAD210, HLTH401, 3 upper-level HSAD courses, plus HSAD494, HSAD495 and INTD499. It is highly recommended that the highlighted courses be completed at Davenport University in order to meet this residency requirement. If an equivalent course was taken previously, another course may be chosen from those listed.

It is recommended that students who have earned a two year diploma complete all of the foundation courses either as transfer credit from their previous institution or at Davenport University.

Students must complete a minimum total of 120 semester credit hours to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration Health Services Administration degree. The total credit hours will include the completed 2 year diploma classes plus any courses completed through Davenport University.
