Tuition Reduction for Military Service

Active Duty Service Members 
Davenport University defines "active duty" as serving at least one day per month.

  • 25% tuition reduction
  • 100% tuition reduction when you receive Federal Tuition Assistance

Active Duty Spouses - My CAA

  • Eligible spouses can receive up to $6000 in financial aid assistance for school
  • Must be in a portable career field
  • Can be used for licenses, certificates and degrees

Spouse and Dependents of Active Duty service members

  • 25% tuition reduction, plus federal aid – as authorized

Veterans and Retirees (and Their Spouses)

  • 25% tuition reduction – with ID and/or DD Form 214
  • VA Benefits, as authorized, paid directly to servicemembers  

Federal Financial Aid

  • Renewable at DU every two semesters (rather than annually) Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Pell Grants up to $4,500 (undergraduate only)
  • Stafford Loans of $9,500 to $12,500 per year; more than $20,000 for graduate students  (Information)
