Active duty servicemembers who qualify for Tuition Assistance (TA), also are eligible for Davenport University’s military financial benefits

Through the Federal Armed Forces Tuition Assistance program, you may be eligible for up to:

  • $250 per semester credit hour
  • $4500 per fiscal year

Every AETC course you’ve taken as part of technical training, as well as each CDC course, is credited by your automatic enrollment in the Community College of the Air Force. By accessing your coursework via Air University’s CCAF website, your credits will be available to apply towards your associate or bachelor’s degree from Davenport University. Many active duty members are able to finish an associates or bachelor’s degree in one to two years.

Words of Caution When Applying for Tuition Assistance

  • Double-check the accuracy of your application to ensure your stament of fees, start and end dates, credits and out-of-pocket expenses are correct.

  • Verify with your education office that you’re supplying and submitting all paperwork required by the Air Force.

If you have GI Bill benefits, TA "Top-Up" benefits may be use by following the process at the Department of Veteran Affairs website. If eligible, you can apply at the DAV site.

Submit Your Completed TA Voucher

Email your completed TA voucher to your DU military admissions counselor prior to your course start date (as directed) or fax to (616) 732-1150 after your course has started.
