Description:
Davenport University Competency Exams have been created by Davenport faculty to award college credit for specific courses at Davenport. Most educational institutions do not accept DU Competency exam credits when students transfer.

- May be taken only once
- May not be taken if student has previously received a failing grade in the course

Cost:
DU Competency tests require a payment of $75. (No checks, payment must be made by Credit Card or cash.)

Appointments will always be scheduled for the full appointment time and must be scheduled within testing hours.
Retake Rule:
Competency Exams may be taken only one time.
ID on day of Testing:
Candidate must bring one form of picture identification such as a passport, a state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID card, a student ID, or an employee ID. Candidates will not be tested if they fail to present appropriate ID.
Testing Center Rules:
Prohibited Items – Personal items (cell phones, backpacks, purses, MP3 players, etc.) are not allowed during testing. They may be left in a car or placed in an area designated by DU staff.

Score Results:
Test results are sent to the DU student’s advisor 2-4 weeks after the test date.
