University Relations and Communications
University Relations & Communications includes Davenport's Communications, Marketing, and Community & Government Affairs groups. These areas are responsible for sharing Davenport's stories with all key audiences, including prospective and current students, faculty and staff, alumni and donors, legislators and other key community and business leaders.

Sharing Davenport's Message

University Relations and Communications exists to support the marketing, communication and relationship-building needs of the University.  All University Relations and Communications staff are located at Davenport's Kraft Lake offices.

Marketing, headed up by Executive Director Steve Landrum, is responsible for the establishment and stewardship of the University's brand plus all advertising and external outreach to prospective students, working closely with Admissions. 

Communications, led by Executive Director Robin Luymes, is responsible for all communication programs developed for stakeholder audiences, including students, faculty and staff,  alumni, donors, legislators, business leaders and more. Also, Communications executes the University's media relations and social media campaigns and supports Marketing with editorial content.

Community and Government Affairs, also led by Robin Luymes, is responsible for planning and executing the University's outreach to the communities in which Davenport operates, including the national and state legislators representing those regions.
