Military Tuition Assistance

Davenport Military Tuition Assistance Policy

Davenport University strives to keep tuition expenses at a minimum for all of
our currently serving students. To accomplish this, Davenport reduces tuition expenses to $250 per credit hour for eligible TA funded courses in our undergraduate programs in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) policy, up to a $4,500 fiscal year maximum (Oct 1–Sep 30). It is the responsibility of the student to provide the required Tuition Assistance authorization form to the school every semester that they attend. It is also the responsibility of the student to submit their final course grades using their respective branches preferred method and within the allotted time for that branch. The tuition rate is not reduced until Davenport bills the respective branch of the military (which is usually at the end of the semester). One exception is if the student is a recipient of the Federal Pell Grant; the Pell amount will be applied before the university reduces the tuition cost. Pell Grant funding may also be applied to cover semester fees for the student. If no other outside funding is received, semester fees are the student’s responsibility.

Davenport University has signed the DoD MOU and is a participating parent institution.
