Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Students with disabilities have the right to equal access to programs, courses, services and activities offered through Davenport. Occasionally, veterans returning from combat may find themselves with a disability and encounter challenges they have never faced before. Note: the ADA determines disability status based on different standards than the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Students who have completed all of the following are entitled to receive approved accommodations:

  1. Self-identified
  2. Provided documentation of disability
  3. Requested reasonable accommodations
