Processes and updates GI Bill certifications for Chapters 30, 33, 35, 1606, and 1607 Assists students with questions regarding certification of enrollment

I have been employed with Davenport University since 2007. I became a VA Certifying Official in 2010. I assist Birthene Banks with certifying and updating enrollment certification for our veteran students to insure compliance with rules and regulations of the Department of Veteran Affairs. We work together to insure there is always someone in the Registrar’s Office that can help answer our veteran’s questions when they call.

I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Davenport, and will be graduating with my Masters of Business Administration degree in the spring of 2013. Being a student at Davenport and also being part of the staff, I have a unique perspective when helping our VA students succeed. I reflect Davenport University’s commitment to our veteran students by providing great customer service in the way I assist students with questions regarding benefit certifications. It is an honor and very rewarding to be a part of helping our veteran students to achieve their educational goals.
