DU Alum Marcie Lewis to Speak About Leadership in Nonprofits

The Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan, Marcie Lewis, is a DU alum who has dedicated her career to leading nonprofits: studying trends, analyzing results and predicting performance. Hear her speak on Nov. 16 about what it takes to be a leader in the world of service. This event will be held at the W.A. Lettinga Campus Sneden Center in the Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Free admission.

DU to welcome its first Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow in October

New Book Helps Davenport University Celebrate Its 150th Anniversary

The granddaughter of Davenport University’s namesake and a former provost for the institution have co-authored Davenport: Educating Across Three Centuries, helping the Grand Rapids-based university celebrate its 150th Anniversary. The book tells the story of how a business school started in 1866 by a Civil War veteran grew into one of the largest private, non-profit universities in the state of Michigan.
