Alternative Credit Project

Credit to Kickstart Your Davenport University Program

If you have stopped out of college, the Alternative Credit Project™ (ACP) provides a pool of online courses that Davenport will accept as transfer credit towards your degree. A national program of the American Council on Education, supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACP is designed to help adults finish what they started—a two-or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.

Accepted Courses

Davenport University will accept these ACP courses as transfer credits toward your academic program:

Davenport University will accept up to 90 credits to help adults complete a college degree or certificate. Students must also meet the university's Residency Requirement. See pp. 88-89 of the Undergraduate Catalog for more information.

Davenport University Admission Overview

We would love to have you join our DU community. Applying for admission as a transfer student is easy—there’s detailed information within the Admissions section of this site. Once accepted, you may request your ACP transcript directly from the American Council on Education (ACE) and forward to the DU Registrar’s Office for review.
