Undergraduate Admissions Checklist Items

Unchecked College Transcripts

Please supply official transcripts from any colleges or other post-secondary institutions that you have attended by sending your college a Transcript Request Form. Please ask your former college to mail official transcripts to the Davenport University Registrar at 6191 Kraft Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49512. Alternatively, your former college can also send official transcripts to electronictranscripts@davenport.edu.

An unofficial transcript is one that does not bear a University Seal, but contains all of a student’s relevant academic information and can be used for admission evaluation pending the receipt of an official transcript. You can usually get a copy of your unofficial transcript from the student portal section of a college’s website. Bring a copy of your unofficial transcript to your admissions appointment, or email it to your admissions representative.

High School Transcripts

Please submit copies of official transcripts from any high school(s) that you attended by sending your high school a Transcript Request Form. Please ask your high school to mail official transcripts to the Davenport University Registrar at 6191 Kraft Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49512. Alternatively, your high school can also send official transcripts to electronictranscripts@davenport.edu.

Not sure how to get your transcript? Contact your high school. Ask for the registrar's office or the student counseling office. Or, contact your high school's main office and ask them for the fax number or email address where you can send a transcript request form. If you have trouble reaching your high school, contact your school district or county board of education. Not sure of your school district? Find it. Another resource is the Department of Education. Contact the Department of Education in your high school’s state.

If you obtained a General Education Development Certificate (GED) or were homeschooled, we will accept your GED score as the equivalent of a high school diploma. Request that a copy of your GED transcript be sent to Davenport University Registrar, 6191 Kraft Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512. We will accept the completion of a home school program as an alternative to a high school diploma.

Unchecked Test Scores

If you have taken the ACT test or the SAT test, you were asked to indicate which college(s) you wanted your scores sent to. If you did not specify Davenport University at the time that you took the test, you can request that your scores be sent to Davenport by visiting the ACT web page or the SAT web page.

unchecked Entrance Exam

Davenport University offers free entrance exam tests with flexible scheduling options. The exam is an untimed, computerized test that helps Davenport evaluate skills and place students into appropriate courses. The test covers reading, writing, and math skills. Most students find it helpful to brush up on their math skills before they take the entrance exam. Prep sessions are available at several DU campus locations. Contact your admissions representative for dates and times. We also offer helpful online prep resources for math, reading and writing.

The entrance exam may be taken at any Davenport University campus. Online students may take a web-based version. Your admissions representative will schedule your entrance exam for you and answer any questions you may have. You can contact your admissions representative at 866-383-3548 or fill out this quick form to request an exam appointment.
