Dr. Young has over 35 years’ entrepreneurial and healthcare leadership experience working closely with Business and Healthcare Leaders in improving consumer-centric organizational performance and market growth. He is a certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Certified Patient Centered Medical Home Expert Content Expert for the National Committee for Healthcare Quality.
He holds Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Organization Design and Leadership, and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Young is an Assistant Professor of Healthcare and Business Administration, and Associate Department Chair for the Donald W. Maine College of Business. He also serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality, the National Association of Health Services Executives and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
