With professional experience in management, Lesley Gale serves as an Associate Department Chair for the Donald W. Maine College of Business in the Management program. In this role she is responsible for academic curriculum development and assessment in addition to staffing, coaching and mentoring adjunct faculty in the Management department.
Prior to working in academia, Professor Gale was a human resource professional for both Holiday Inn Corporation and Coopers and Lybrand. While working for both of these companies she had the opportunity to work in all areas of human resources. After working with these companies, she opened her own consulting firm and served clients within the service, high tech and manufacturing industries.
Professor Gale continues her consulting, but now focuses on pro bono work with nonprofit companies. She is able to not only serve her customer with her expertise, but she also is able to choose to work with organizations that serve our society in a greater way. Her current research interests are in perceived global discrimination of international students.
