Lorely is an Associate Department Chair in the Marketing department and manages in-seat marketing courses across all campuses as well as graduate business courses.

Upon obtaining her Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University, Lorely began her marketing career as a Strategy and Operations Manager for Whirlpool Corporation, working directly with Sears, Whirlpool’s largest trade partner. In that role, she was responsible for general channel relations and operations as well as the Kenmore Air Purifiers line of products and Sears Outlet stores. During her time with the company, Lorely worked with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Whirlpool representative to assist Sears in developing a marketing strategy – including product mix, personnel, presentation, and promotion – for the newly acquired Kmart stores. Prior to her position with Davenport, Lorely was a Marketing Director for Artemis Technologies, a web and software development company. In this role she acquired a passion for technology as it relates to marketing and acted as the in-house consultant for user-experience (UX) and digital marketing strategies, working closely with Auto-Owners, Biggby Coffee, and municipalities, including the City of Aspen (CO) and Stearns County (MN).

Lorely is in the process of obtaining her Certificate of Digital Marketing from the American Marketing Association and is planning on beginning to work on her PhD in 2017.
