With an expertise in both event management, public relations, and corporate sports sponsorships, Steven Prawdzik (Project) serves as the Associate Department Chair for the Donald W. Maine College of Business in the Sport Management Department. He also served as the Faculty rep for the Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization (CEO) and now leads the new Sport Management Student Organization (SMSO).
Steve has over 25 years of sport business experience. He was the Director of the Chicago Marathon for Flair Communications Agency Inc., National Marketing Manager of Brooks Shoes/Wolverine Worldwide, Group Leader and Director of Sports Marketing for Amway Corp, and Director of Brand Marketing for J.W. Messner/Marketing Tools Inc. Steve has worked with the Orlando Magic, the NBA globally, FIBA, Shaquille O\'Neal, Rik Smits/Netherlands, Oscar Schmidt/Brazil, Dominique Wilkins, Dave Winfield, Bill Rodgers and Greg Meyer, the Asian Basketball Confederation, Nagano Japan Winter Olympics, and Sr. PGA legend Gary Player.
He owns Project Sports Marketing, LLC with clients that include the Champions of Character All Star Basketball Games, TA-WA-SI All Star Basketball Games, Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball 50 city Tour, 5/3 River Bank Run, Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame, the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame and Grand Rapids West Catholic High. He was appointed to the Advisory Board of the West Michigan Sports Commission in 2009 and also currently serves on the Davenport Athletic Department Advisory Committee. Steve also serves as an Association Member and Membership Committee Member on the Michigan Statewide Sport Management Association (MSSMA)
