Project Meeting Attendance

The Project Management Office believes that full participation of the project team is a strong indicator of the future success of a project. While other commitments, PTO, etc. can be a challenge, the success of the project depends on a team effort. We strongly encourage team members to send a representative in their place if they are unable to attend.

On-Time Status Reports

The Project Management Institute promotes the belief that communication is 90% of a Project Manager's job. Status reports keep all stakeholders informed and contribute to overall project success. Our PMO will strive to deliver complete status reports according to the frequency (weekly or bi-weekly) set forth in each project charter. These are due by end of day on Monday for the previous period.

Charter Completion

According to The Project Management Institute a project without a charter is not yet  project. A Charter ensures that sponsors are on board and gives approval and authority to the PM to move forward. Once a project is approved it is moved from proposal status to project status. Our PMO is committed to completing each project charter within 30 days of the project approval date. Charter completion is the primary deliverable of the project initiation phase.

Overall Satisfaction Rating

The PMO motto is "Doing the Right Projects Right". Our goal is to exceed a minimum overall PMO satisfaction rating based on the responses we receive on our Project Surveys collected at project completion. The responses which indicate how well the PMO has carried out it's duties will be averaged to obtain this score.
