Situational Leadership at Davenport University

Situational Leadership

Requestion Information

Some supervisors apply a “one size fits all” approach to supervision. The Situational Leadership model suggests that a supervisor should vary his or her style of leadership based on the employee’s confidence and skill level on an individual task or goal. Learn how to read people, influence (not control) and become the kind of leader that others want to follow.

Developed by The Ken Blanchard Companies® (author of the One Minute Manager) and delivered by IPEx expert facilitators, the Situational Leadership® II (SLII®) Workshop will equip you with the tools to apply the most effective leadership style in any given situation based on the needs of the team member.  In just 2-days you will improve your communication skills and become a more trusted and credible leader.

Learn how to use situational leadership to achieve greater productivity by infusing energy, self-reliance and drive within your employees. Retain your most talented employees by being more responsive to their development needs.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Become a highly skilled, flexible leader who can develop and retain talent
