Tax Form Information (1098-T)

Online Access to Tax Forms

1098-T forms for the 2018 tax year will be available January 31st, 2019.

STUDENT PAYMENT CENTER

Tax years 2003 through the current tax year are available online. Prior to tax year 2003, DU was not required to report financial information.

Please see the information to the left of this window if you wish to acquire 1098-T statements from any year prior to 2016. If you wish to acquire 1098-T statements from 2016 or later, they can be found in the Student Payment Center.

Tax Form Details

Beginning for the tax year 2018 DU will now report qualified payments received in Box 1. In years prior, DU reported qualified charges in Box 2. The change in reporting is due to a change in IRS reporting requirements. For questions in how to use Box 1 please speak with your tax advisor.

Corrections

To correct a social security number, students must submit a W-9S form to the Central Registrar's Office. You can email the form to: central.registrar@davenport.edu. You must call (800) 266-6158 to request an update to the social security number on your 1098-T form. The form will be updated online. A new paper 1098-T will not be created.

Reports to the IRS

You'll find details on payments (including financial aid and all cash, credit card, check payments) at the Student Payment Center:

  1. Select Recent Payments and Credits
  2. Select Payment History
  3. Enter a specific time frame
  4. Select View Payment History (lists all payment transaction within the time frame entered)

Opt-out of Electronic Delivery

If you wish to opt-out of electronic delivery of your 1098-T, you need to inform us in writing at accountsreceivable@davenport.edu.
