What is AMA?

The American Marketing Association (AMA) was established in 1937 by visionaries in marketing and academia. Today, the AMA has become one of the largest marketing associations in the world with over 30,000 members who work, teach and study in the field of marketing across the globe.

As the leading organization for marketers, AMA is the trusted go-to-resource for marketers and academics. AMA members stay current with relevant knowledge, training and tools to enhance lifelong learning and obtain valuable information and connections.

The mission of the AMA @ Davenport University chapter is to cultivate and maintain a strong interest in marketing and enhance the educational value for DU students. Meetings occur bi-weekly at the DU Student Center. The chapter engages in community service marketing initiatives, directs chapter strategy, and hosts speakers in marketing areas. Students in any major are welcome to join if they have an interest in marketing topics.

For more details on the DU chapter, visit the group's OrgSync website.  To learn more about AMA visit the American Marketing Association international website.
