Marketing & Communications

Marketing & Communications is responsible for sharing Davenport's stories with all key Davenport University audiences, including prospective and current students, faculty and staff, alumni and donors, legislators and other key community and business leaders.

Sharing Davenport's Message

University Relations and Communications exists to support the marketing, communication and relationship-building needs of the University.  All University Relations and Communications staff are located at Davenport's Kraft Lake offices.

Marketing, headed up by Executive Director Steve Landrum, is responsible for the establishment and stewardship of the University's brand plus all advertising and external outreach to prospective students, working closely with Admissions. 

Communications, led by Rachel Esterline Perkins, is responsible for all communication programs developed for stakeholder audiences, including students, faculty and staff,  alumni, donors, legislators, business leaders and more. Communications executes the University's media relations and social media campaigns and supports Marketing with editorial content.  Communications also leads planning and execution of community outreach and government affairs activities.
